About Expecto Podcastum
Expecto Podcastum was first thought of around Christmas 2016 when Adam and Laura were Skyping and discussing Harry Potter, as they so often do. They decided it would be fun to re-read the series and discuss each chapter together, record it and see what other peoples ideas were about what they just read. After a month of consideration they decided the time was right to just go for it and hence Expecto Podcastum was born. Expecto Podcastum currently uploads a new near to hour long episode almost every Sunday (if not then shortly after that) on Soundcloud and iTunes Podcasts. Below is a bit of information on both Adam and Laura.
About Adam
Adam is currently a staff nurse in a orthopaedics unit in a Galway hospital after spending some time working in the UK and after studying in Trinity College,Dublin (The Long Room Library is like what he imagines the Hogwarts one to be like).He has been a Harry Potter fan since the age of 7 after reading the first book, which was bought for him at a book fair on World Book Day. Since then his love for the series has only gown visiting "The Making of Harry Potter" studio tour in London, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando and various Harry Potter conventions and quizes and filming/inspiration locations. Other than Harry Potter Adam enjoys the theatre having stared in various local productions in Ireland.
About Laura
Laura is currently staff midwife in a Dublin maternity hospital, after studying in Trinity College, Dublin. Laura has been a fan of Harry Potter since she saw Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone when she was 6 with the Girl Guides. When she was a bit older she began to read the books and has been a fan ever since. Other than Harry Potter Laura enjoys cross stitching and listening to true crime podcasts and watching awful true crime shows with terrible reconstructions.
